(The Wife)

All hope seems lost as our Hero lays trapped by the seductress
His life a blur of euphoric pleasure
Our Hero is forever a slave in his own body; hypnotized by her wicked curse
Her siren songs are forever ringing in his head
But suddenly a burst of clarity falls over our hero
Old Memories stir deep inside him that he locked away years ago
The curse that enslaves our hero can hold him no longer
He grabs a nearby rock and he lashed out at the seductress
He strikes her across the head and knocks her to the floor
He continues beating her with that rock until his hand is numb
A pool of blood rises around his feet and The Seductress is no more
Our hero, breathing heavy, looks at her bludgeoned face and sees her eyes
The darkness that shrouded them had lifted and they shone bright green
He even swore he could see a slight smirk on her face
The demon inside her has been killed and her soul released
He has freed her

Our hero gathers the clothes he'd been stripped of
And the guns she had locked away
He sits for a moment looking into the darkness
Beyond the lair that imprisoned him and thinks deeply
Not about the Seductress but about memories of his past
Memories he had long buried
He reminisces about the wife he lost and the daughter he abandoned
