Rule #26 - Gideon

An elevator hangs above water
Glass in every which way
The panel goes one to one hundred
Starting with the highest stage
These chains are anchored to a kind of cloud
Jingle as the box descends
A chime calls out every number
As the rocking begins

Fish were right by the surface
Followed by manta ray
Beams of light slice the water
A brilliant demonstrate
For calming peace of manner
Tranquil as light evades
Passing by quarrel seaweeds
Floating, swaying in place

The glass recedes through a canyon
With it, shadows rise
Gently they call that their signal
To family far in the tides
The elevator reaches the bottom
Slowly stops in the sand
Waiting is a single statue
Offering out their hand
