More Decorum
As cold as how they breathe, do you know what monsters think
With a tender source of meat, as red as what they drink?
They're satisfied with the offering sprawled by their feet
How could they take it now
It's all out in the open where there is no one here this far out in the ocean?
A spec of light at this point would seem hopeless
A world like this was never meant for a boy like him
More decorum, well, who wouldn't want that?
So, go and take another look at the boy like all the boys you say you never look twice at
And who'd do anything for him?
Addressing crowds, citing his tomes
I am no man to take the throne
Said the monster on his own
The bedrock starts to bleed
What's trapped beneath the ice?
The snow's a slight of hand, you cannot trust your eyes
Can you separate the matter, the cellophane from the steam?
They can't see
Why the death toll seems to vary depending on the mood of the apothecary
Letting them go would turn our poor for everyone
A world like this was never meant for a boy like him
More decorum, well, who wouldn't want that?
So, go and take another look at the boy like all the boys you say you never look twice at
And who'd do anything for him?
Addressing crowds, citing his tomes
I am no man to take the throne
Said the monster on his own
