Pain

I was feeling a pain
A kind of ache
In my bladder
And I thought, hey, it could be a virus or infection,
Actually, I figured it was the latter

But I went to the doc
And he gasped aloud
And then the hospital staff became a crowd
They showed me an xray
Said what you were
And now

It's hard to pass you
And even though you cause me pain
It's hard to pass you, up again

You're in my kidneys, but you're really in my heart
Oh I knew it was you from the start
I saw a professional just to get you out
But now that you're about to leave, I want you now
I know it's sad, and I know it's kinda weird
But now I've grown attached to you, it's just as I feared
You're leaving me all alone
And I'm in my hospital bed, without my kidney stones

I called my mom, said it was hard
And she said, "Literally, I don't know what you're talking about"
She doesn't get it
She doesn't get how I can be
So attached to something attached to me

Oh, I know it's probably a little bit odd
But I think we were meant for each other
At least, you were meant for me
And that means I want you for an eternity

It's hard to pass you
Even though you cause me pain
It's hard to pass you, up again

You're in my kidneys, but you're really in my heart
Oh I knew it was you from the start
I saw a professional just to get you out
But now that you're about to leave, I want you now
I know it's sad, and I know it's kinda weird
But now I've grown attached to you, it's just as I feared
You're leaving me all alone
And I'm in my hospital bed, without my kidney stones

My kidney stones
My precious kidney stones
My precious kidney stones
I'm in my hospital bed
Without my kidney stones
