Pittsburgh

I'll be glad to move back to Pittsburgh some day
No I won't be sad if that is my fate
Though my friends all live in New York and LA
I'll be glad to go back home someday

I've met good folks that live all over the states
No there ain't a town without a friendly face
And in every one there's a life I could make
I'll be grateful for the place I was raised

Yeah I'll get a dog and a job and a house in Squirrel Hill
And I'll ask my love to come with if she will
And I'll tell my bands I can't tour, I can't chill
I'll be glad for the bridges of steel

I guess I'd miss some things in my life from before
The biking around, the people, and the shows
And how every day there's a new plan in store
But I'd trade it for a life that is sure

I'll be glad to move back to Pittsburgh some day
No I won't be sad if that is my fate
Though my friends all live all over the place
I'll be glad to goback home someday
