Locked onto its eyes I'm staring deep into a black void

Here basking in the dim moonlight the corpses rot around me
I grip my blade and steal myself
For I wish not to join them
Pondering its existence
How could this beast lay undiscovered for centuries or eons
Heathens like this deserve flame
