The Rubber Boot of Charlie Dan

One day, one time it started a story
When a baby boy named Charlie Dan was born
And his dad used to wear rubber boots
When did go working in the farm of a senior

Charlie's mom used to stay at home
He was the first of nine more coming children
That time was something you can't see
In our days but there there was everything

Just two years and Charlie started walking
You know, of course, he wouldn't walk so good
As any other baby when begin to stroll at home
And his daddy said "Dan, take my rubber boot"

And the baby boy took about one half a day
Was walking like his daddy digging in the farm
Mother said "Dad, Charlie did it! He did it!"
And dad said "Good boy, walk with your heart"

You know, the boot was bigger than Charlie's feet
But nothing mattered since he did wear
One time his daddy put the boot on him
And some day he was running everywhere

And the baby boy took about one half a day
Was walking like his daddy digging in the farm
Mother said "Dad, Charlie did it! He did it!"
And dad said "Good boy, walk with your heart"
