2 Am

Went on a run at 2 am
I was tired of my feet treading the carpet
The cold helped me get out of my head
When I'm up tomorrow night I'll do it again

Rearrange my room, and rearrange it again
The songs I play on repeat won't get stuck in my head
And I can't seem to remember what it was like before
But I miss it

Took the car for a drive in the late afternoon
Without a destination in mind except away
The sun burst through the windows with a shower of sparks
I used to feel like that

Rearrange my room, then rearrange it again
The songs I play on repeat won't get stuck in my head
And I can't seem to remember what it was like before
But I miss it
But I miss it

I miss the colors of the early morning I never see anymore
I miss the feeling of going somewhere, of there being something in store
I miss the rush of the days, the fall of the leaves
The spring in my step, wearing jeans
But most of all, I miss you
I miss you

I rearrange my room, then rearrange it again
The songs I play on repeat won't get stuck in my head
And I can't seem to remember what it was like before
But I miss it
But I miss it
Oh, but I miss it
