Graveyard

The last time I noticed a graveyard
Was the first time I gained perspective
And I hope not to be neglected

The land I'm lying on and the skyline that skirts me
Unlocks more than the best of thieves
Convince me of somewhere not to leave

Restore, like a church, all hope within me
That the land, first and foremost, is a key
I was born here and here I'll pass
A line I'll cast through a land so vast
Calloused as the toughest of boulders
Delicate as the weakest of glass

I've been scared my whole life long
Running up and down the same mound
Each passing through I daydream of another town
Come out of it now, make another round

Restore, like a church, all hope within me
That the land, first and foremost, is a key
I was born here and here I'll pass
A line I'll cast through a land so vast
Calloused as the toughest of boulders
Delicate as the weakest of glass

Now when I finish up here
And no longer have my senses
Won't be kept in by any fences
Will I
And when I finish up here
I won't wanna come back down
I won't wanna turn around
Will I
Will I
