Before the Oaken Altar

The crunching of leaves echoes through the trees
A figure shifts in the woods before me
Violent in nature and quickening in pace
A look of malice etched in his face

Dragged through the dirt and placed upon the oaken altar
With nowhere to turn, his vacant eyes don't seem to falter
In the light of the waning sun
The tools of torture reflect a glare of a light I won't see again

Rambling madman he speaks unto me
Whispers of a dead family of 3
He speaks as though I did this to him
I plead I'm not he who murdered his kin

"Finally you will pay for you sins. I have you now, this is the end"

"What have I done? I've never seen you before!"
"There's been a mistake, it's not too late to let me run away!"

"If only you knew the torment you put me through"
"Take one last breath and say goodbye"
"These are the final moments of your life"

Axe to the grind your death will be clean
Your head to be separated from it's body

Vengeance is mine!

Dragged through the dirt and placed upon the oaken altar
With nowhere to turn, his vacant eyes don't seem to falter
