New Horizons

I see the worry of one more try
With wrinkled stories of years gone by
And it's sometimes scary what's lost and found
But if you could see you you'd be proud

And it's all worth showing
Love and care keep growing
You're enough perfect and whole

I sense depictions disagree
They mostly feel so arbitrary
Gray scale tones mask insecurities
And also show the things that make me me

It's sometimes scary what came before
And how it made you dream of more
Dream of printed pictures to idolize cherish and adore

And the veil is falling
New horizons calling
Hear their questions ringing true

Who's that girl?
And I know that
Face belongs to me
