Santa's Favorite

Every year I work so hard
I tidy up I write a card
I do well and do my chores
I can always help you, even with yours

Mommy never had to ask
I will sure perform my tasks
That's how Santa's picking me this year
If I'm gonna help whom I hold dear

For Santa here, are cookies and milk
Some homemade cakes on top of silk
My mommy watched, and there she smiled
I am on a good list as a good child

Dishes, clothes, my messy room
The trash as well, I will assume
I'll clean it all, I'll make it shine
Like this my list he can't decline

The tree as well, stands tall and proud
The lights alone, will draw a crowd
But for the end, I'll do as much
See the star on top, a final touch

My list is short, asking not a lot
Maybe some toys, and a wooden cot
For my greatest gift, I can hardly wait

The cot and toys, are all for her

On my list, I left it signed
