And so the boy finds himself here again
In an empty space
The silence comforting but lonely
Nothing but a mirror and God to talk to
Which is more than enough
People are much too complicated
And after multiple attempts at conversation
He finds more solace in talking to a microphone
As expression
A light of hope that turned into a feverish passion
Tears run down his face as his therapist listens in earnest
Watching him breakdown its seen the worst of the worst
But its also seen the fight
As he stands up and tries again
This time with better words and tone
More emotion he has to feel it
This is real
He has always been real
He has always been him
Holding God's hand like a baby he walks his first steps
Into peace, tranquility, serenity
His lips part and his teeth show
What does it mean to smile
He's found it
The answer was always here
There is no mask anymore
For this is as natural as the trees in the ground
The clouds in the sky
And the animals that run amok
This smile is as bright as the sun
Everyone has one them you know, a smile
Such a freeing thing
Its so simple but we make it confusing
