Can't you see me?
What do you mean try?

I feel more surrounded when I'm all alone
It's the words that's not spoken that hurt me the most
Love is a fire what burns is unseen
Ashes had ashes it felt like a dream

You asked if I could see you and you thought I was annoyed
But I'll never see the one person that filled my empty void
And I knew somethin' was fishy I ain't talkin 'bout no Koi
This the second level of the story reminds me of a toy

Why you talkin' all that mess forget the sticks and stones
And I'd rather be on Mars if that means that I'm alone

I ain't wanted what you wanted you were goin through the motions
How you gonna yell out shark but you're the monster in the ocean
You're the wolf the boy kept cryin' for causin' all the commotion
And I'm tired of your spells, you cookin' up another potion

Writing on this pen and paper startin' to lose focus
I know God is real but even he was feeling hopeless
The darkest nights, they form the brightest stars
And I tried to be like Cupid but my arrows gave you scars
And I tried to stitch 'em up but they were sewn up by his heart
If there was no one on the planet I'd rather live on Mars

When you laugh the world laughs with you
When you weep you weep alone
You rejoice and they will seek you
If you grieve they turn and go

And I write in pain without a period 'cause it never ends
Thank God we live once 'cause I couldn't do it again
