Let the Lustful Eye Die

Don't even try to get close
The body isn't your prize
You can't have it
That kind of intimacy
With vanity
Is dangerous times
The internet
And the fantasies you make up in your mind
Won't fill the void you're looking for

Let the lustful eye die
Get out there's time
When you look at the Father
He's sad inside

Oh jealousy ruined you
Because of that heart on fire
For what the other person had
Oh because of envy
The more the devil feeds
The more it needs
You can change that
Start to love yourself again
You don't have to have it all figured out

If you go down that black hole
Again you will sink
All your mistakes
Will come back to face you someday
You don't have to be all organized
But eventually you will have to choose to priortize
Maybe two steps forward
In the right direction

Let the lustful eye die
Get out there's time
When you look at the Father
He's sad inside

You know the media is a lie
They are just models
Trying to promote their brand
Why don't you just close one eye
And look the other way

Rebuke the beasts that dwell among the reeds
The herd of bulls with the calves of people
Trample underfoot those who lust after tribute
Scatter the peoples who delight in war (Psalm 68:30)

The Lord knows how to recue the godly from trials
Keep the unrighteous under punishment
Until the day of judgement
Especially those who indulge in the lust
Of defiling passion and despise authority (2 Peter 2:9-10)

Get out there's time
When you look at the Father

There's still time
To ask for forgiveness
