BLINKING EXIT

I know I shouldn't bother thinking
But sometimes I feel my years are shrinking
I laugh despite this understanding
Falling down even though I'm standing

Breathing seems to be
the thing that's killing me
the more I need it

Step outside only when raining
Smiling while frowning
Happy while drowning

I still pretend to be awakened
Though my slumbers never breaking
Sleep walk in my little bubble
Empty gaze reflecting in a puddle

The irony it seems to be a bit of tragedy

Step outside only when raining
Smiling while frowning
Happy while drowning

My time cannot rewind
It's fine if not unkind
My mind is going blind
Staring at the sign
That Blinking Exit

Days pass without any notice
I find myself with circumstantial motives
To climb from this situation
Somehow I need more stimulation

Reality it seems to be more like a fantasy

Step outside only when raining
Smiling while frowning
Happy while drowning

My time cannot rewind
It's fine if not unkind
My mind is going blind
Staring at the sign
That Blinking Exit
