I eat poetry for breakfast

I eat poetry for breakfast
Each letter a piece of cereal
That I devour
With almond milk or alliteration

Sometimes
I'll have poetry as a snack
A little rhyme to satisfy my tastebuds
As I get ready for lunch

For which
I will also have poetry
Sandwiched words
That come from nowhere and everywhere dipped in description

For dinner, I eat poetry
Long free-versed
Stanza-like spaghetti noodles
Filling my heart and belly with emotion

And, for dessert
I'll write poetry
Sweet simple lines like strawberry syrup
A real delicate treat for readers to enjoy
