Dino Ditty

It's a beautiful day
Come on down to dino café
And grab a coffee or tea
In our neighbourly town
There's always someone around
Let's just see who we see

Taking a walk, down in dinosaur city
Strolling along, singing this ditty
Looking around and who do we see
Friendly dinosaurs waving at me

At the courthouse, Velociraptor runs up the steps
Ready to strive for all the dinos she reps
She just hopped off the Stegosaurus bus
Each spine is a seat, there's room for all of us

Taking a walk, down in dinosaur city
Strolling along, singing this ditty
Looking around and who do we see
Friendly dinosaurs waving at me

T-Rex blows her sax, with a bopping beat
Tiny, dancing hands and her tapping feet
She busks on the corner by the new high rise
Beside her Bronto works as an elevator ride

Taking a walk, down in dinosaur city
Strolling along, singing this ditty
Looking around and who do we see
Friendly dinosaurs waving at me

Pterodactyl swoops in to the nineteenth floor
Delivering a parcel to Albertasaur'
It's a box of flashy hubcaps, for his jacked-up truck
He thinks he's so cool, but no one gives a-

Taking a walk, down in dinosaur city
Strolling along, singing this ditty
Looking around and who do we see
Friendly dinosaurs waving at me
Taking a walk, down in dinosaur city
Strolling along, singing this ditty
Looking around and who do we see
Friendly dinosaurs waving at me
