We Slowly Drove

We slowly drove out of town
I heard the sound of some countdown
Headlights like two moons
Who could not enlighten us
We were like strangers from an other sea
Trying heavily not to drown

How could we feel meadows out of misery
Carrying a stone way too large for us
The gap in between growing inevitably
With anyone that could fix the loss

There was a time when innocence
Was not a verse of dissonance

The guardians back then didn't look the same
Wearing disguises that couldn't really fit
They were trying to help
Calling for a supply
An ally, which never came
For we had to move away

This memory was only passing by
Greeting without leaving any cry
For that came out of my mind
Was just a wave for a very last goodbye

How could we fall,I don't really wanna know
To this place,I'll never wanna go
From now on,I am ready to grow
And stay away from this sad willow
From now on,I am ready to grow
And stay away from this sad willow
