Arrival in Nara - Commentary

Nara is a city in Japan where the Deer can-can roam freely around the city
We're told, 'cause we haven't been there, we read-, Joe read about it on Reddit, uhm
It's a really lovely idea, y'know, that, uhm
Whether or not the Deer may be actually in real life might be kind of pests, we're not sure
But certainly, romantically it's a lovely, it's a lovely image, so

That was the sorta basis for the song Nara
And the song Nara, when Joe was writing it
It had a lot of kinda chord ideas which were too much to fit into one song really, so
Arriving at Nara was kind of a overture to the song Nara
And then, uh, we also had Living Nara, which was a kind of reprise or reprise, uhm
We never quite good at how to pronounce that
So we called it Living Nara, like seriously
Like Lido and Lido, yeah, what's the, uh

Uhm, so, yeah, uhm
So it's pretty kinda Nara is obviously a play
So you can kind of exploit that idea of, y'know, music being a journey
And travelling somewhere by listening to a song
