Night Swimming

I don't really care if you think I'm wrong or right
Conversations aren't medals to win

And really I don't care how you spend the rest of your night
I just know it's a good night for a swim

A mile down the road
There's a lake no one knows
And I'd love just to dip a toe

I love the way the moon shines
Skinny-dipping with pines
Gliding under the water at night

Let's be swans in a pond
Go around and beyond

It's just a whim, but it's a good night for a swim

Let's go down to the lake
