Am I Living Right?

I don't know when I started
Seeing people live the life of the party
And then I get this feeling in my head that it should be me
And I scroll through my Instagram
I see my dawg with his girlfriend
And then I think to myself, I really wish I was him
I should just throw my phone away
Because every single day
I start feeling like something's off
And then I start to doubt myself and wonder
Am I living right?
Cause I see people in my life
They be showing off the highlights
And im struggling to find mine
Am I living right?
I should be happy for them but I might
Think about this for an hour or so
Until I start to question my life
And if I living right
There's so much to be thankful for
I've got my parents and I've got my brother
We do our best to have fun, but I'm always searching for more
I try but I can't ignore
So I try to up the score
And find some things to be excited for
But it's a never ending battle
All the guys who made progress in the gym
The girls in Europe drinking some gin
The kids enjoying their life to the fullest
The guys that pull a girl at any second
The girls that eat at fancy restaurants
And I'm just watching from the side hoping that'll one day be me
Am I living right?
Cause I see people in my life
They be showing off the highlights
And im struggling to find mine
Am I living right?
I should be happy for them but I might
Think about this for an hour or so
Until I start to question my life
And if I living right
I gotta take this into my own hands
Start to understand how to live as my own man
I'm not out in Vegas enjoying my night
But I still love my life
And I'm not the guy with a fine ass girlfriend
I'm not on a plane travelling the world and
I don't go to parties at Western University
But I still love my life
Yeah I'm living right
And I don't need to compare my life
To some guy i haven't seen in 4 years
And doesn't know that I exist
Yeah I'm living right
I gotta remember my life isn't mid
I know it's tough to see that shit
But I'll close my eyes tonight because I'm living right
