I Don't Think

I won't talk to her
She's better off without me around
I try my best to make no sound
I'm doing the right thing, yes I'm sure

She's trying her best reaching out to me
This I know for sure won't last
Hope she can put this in the past
Am I a martyr or a mystery

Either way it makes no difference
And so much for reverence
It's not in your best interest
To stay around, I don't think

After all is said and done
I Still think it's best you abandon me
We should agree to disagree
On what I have become

Maybe I just don't see where you're coming from
Push you away and tell you it's love
I'm starting to think neither one of us won
Oh, Well
Either way it makes no difference
And so much for reverence
It's not in your best interest
To stay around, I don't think

I think that I've done all that I should
Your light keeps on burning like I knew it would

My cigarettes burnt into sand
I see from the face lights far from land
I'm here alone while they are too
Buried in ash you and I are through
