One with the atmosphere
Sounds of nature
Drifting through my ear
Scents of sandalwood
To ease the daily stress
Feel vibrations from a spirits voice upon my neck
Telling me to let go of anxiety
"Maintain your sanity
You're not entirely
Behind like you think you are
You're on time
You're overwhelming yourself
From the outside
People are admiring your progress
They see your worth
And know you're not settling for less
You obsess about opinions
But you hide it well
Real tough shell
But inside you are afraid to fail

My hunger pains
Come from all the strain
I've been putting on my life
Had to rearrange
My habits
The chamomile
Touches my tongue
I drift off like the evening sun
My dream becomes
A dialogue with my daughter
She tells me
"Daddy
I know you'll have your life in order
You're nervous about me coming
But I see determination deep inside of you

About not working out

She pouts
I see a tear
Flow beside her mouth
"Babygirl it's things you will not understand

"Yep all the time
That's why we try our very best to make it work
Even when it hurts
My love for you and her is staying first"

Open my eyes
I see a cloud of faith
This virus came and put our world at stake
I found a world of hate
From every source
So
I found my peace by stepping back to take
A break from it all
Develop sense of self
Focus on my health
And put my worries on the shelf
We weren't born expecting life to be a call for help
We still try to make the best with the cards that we were dealt
A drop of rain gently touched my nose
I looked up to the graying sky
And suddenly my body froze
I slowly arose
Peeking through the clouds
Was a beam of light
I saw a man coming down
I dropped a tear and he just cracked a smile
He said, Too many blessings to be crying now
"Look inside yourself
When you are feeling down and I am here"
Went back to the sky and then he disappeared
