The Father's Garden

There are trees upon trees in My Garden
From centuries long ago
The waters flow like a winnowing fork
Spread to grow the life I sow

The fruits are a delight
Untasted by man or mind
Always ever-changing
So each one a new delight to find

Will you step into My Garden?
Will you walk with Me there?
Will you walk with Me in My Garden?
Removing all worries or cares

My hands have laid its foundation
My eye imagined each part
Wisdom's Garden grown for the nations
For the tilling of their hearts

Where will the terebinth tree lay?
And how will you find the spruce?
I've grown each part unique
Original from its roots

Will you step into My Garden?
Will you walk with Me there?
Will you walk with Me in My Garden?
Removing all worries or cares

There will be no death here
You will find no stretched decay
Only life's sweet ocean
A holy botanical bouquet

In will walk my children
As I walk with them in hand
I take joy in their wonder
Each thing new to the son of man

Will you step into My Garden?
Will you walk with Me there?
Will you walk with Me in My Garden?
Removing all worries or cares

It's there they'll find their purpose be
In the trees and in My Glory
I will write it in their hearts
Their greater purposed story

So next time you walk a path
The next time you hike with me
Know one day your feet will find My Garden
And we'll walk into eternity

Will you step into My Garden?
Will you walk with Me there?
Will you walk with Me in My Garden?
Removing all worries or cares
