Writing music lets me talk to you
I'm reaching out to say your not alone
You might have days where you've lost all sense of hope
If you reach out to me I can help you to cope
And Its always ok to ask for help
The early 2000's are gone and in our past
It's time for people to grow up and face the fact
You had no idea I've had bipolar for the past 5 years
I want to break stigmas that we face each day
I take medications for life and that's ok
Taking meds doesn't define who we are
It's our choices in life that paint the picture
It's my time to give back to everyone
That helped me out along my journey
And now its my time to help people out
With their journeys or recovery
We all have hidden flaws on the inside
That's what makes us so special and unique
It's the lens you view yourself and the world in
The goal is to feel comfortable in your own skin
And for all the negative people in your life
Just remember they are irrelevant
And their toxic for your mind
And their also just a waste of time
It's my time to give back to everyone

I've had struggles in this long-term relationship
I know we can get through it together
And we can become a lifelong team
And we will continue to fight each day
