Cardboard Boxes

I left my head inside of all the cardboard boxes
That I used to move myself into a new life
And now I don't know how to put it back into my body
I've tried to get drunk with the fantasy of burying myself

I've broken my heart into pieces that I can't pick up anymore
Because they want to stay apart from each other
And I decided that you need a better opinion of me
And a blanket that will cover us from the rain

But don't you know that sometimes
I feel like I'm on the wrong side
It's so hard to see all the beautiful things all around

I've been so insecure
But I'm trying to be pure
It's so hard to see all the love that you are giving me

My loneliness is cozy, it's like a silky pillowcase
And I would sink into it until I suffocate
And I suppose that I should have a better opinion of you
And a blanket to uncover us from the dark

But don't you know that sometimes
I feel like I'm on the wrong side
It's so hard to see all the beautiful things all around

I've been so insecure
But I'm trying to be pure
It's so hard to see all the love that you are giving me

It's really hard to see all the love that you are giving me
And all of the beautiful things

All of the beautiful things
