Habits

With tears so heavy they pull down my eyelids
Maybe I'll feel better with them closed
Maybe I won't

Practice makes perfect they are not lying
'Cause I've gotten so good at this silent crying

When my eyes fill and you know
And the tears drip down my nose
Found my limit, take off my clothes
Climb into bed, the end of the show
And drown
Take it lying down

With fears so vivid I shake down to my bones
Maybe I'll feel better when I'm warm
More likely I won't

Practice makes perfect I've wrecked my habits
The panic inside screaming "honestly, just quit"

And my eyes fill, and I know
That the tears, they drip down my nose
Found my limit, take off my clothes
Climb into bed, the end of the show
And drown
Can't even take it lying down
