Colony under Siege

Under darkened skies, our colony sighs
As enemy fleets orbit, casting ominous lies
Once proud and towering, now cowers in gloom
Echoes of despair in every room

Depleting supplies, and oxygen wanes
No hope in sight, just agonizing pains
In this suffocating grip, we struggle to cope
Bound by despair, with diminishing hope

High losses mount, with each orbital strike
Thinned defenses falter, under the relentless spike
Winds of defeat howl through the halls
As desperation deepens, and morale falls
