2 Thessalonians

The Second Letter to the Thessalonians Rhymes
When writing to the church again
Which Paul did with his hand and pen

He said We ought thank God for you
Your faith has grown, your love has too

We brag of your tenacity
A model for the church to see

You suffer now, but God is just
Reprisals all to him entrust

Those who don't know him, then destroyed
Cast from his presence to the void

With this same pow'r He can fulfill
All good you wish to do until

When he comes back in fire such that
His glory shall be marveled at

Before that time Christ comes again
And gathers us all up with him

Don't be deceived, though fate is sealed
The man of sin will be revealed

He will gain power, raised up high
And then he'll claim he's El Shaddai

With miracles he will deceive
The wicked who just won't believe

But you, oh Thessalonian
Believe in truth aeonian

God chose you, loved you, saved you too
May he encourage all you do

Now pray for us, God's message grow
That we'll be safe from evil foe

Avoid the brothers who won't work
Who will not toil but want the perks

Keep doing actions right and pure
Like God, show love. Like Christ, endure
