Red Door

Little blue house with that red door
Making dinner with a movie on
It's been a while since thats been gone
But sometimes I think of when we called that home

Little couch but we always had room
You'd sit and sew while I play the piano
I'd break down and you would soothe me calm
And sometimes I think of when I called that home

Times got tough and now it's all long gone
But sometimes I think of when I called you home

I'd step outside and have a cigarette
How can a cat so small take up the whole damn bed
There's something about it all that I can't forget
And sometimes I think of when we called that home

Times got tough and now it's all long gone
But sometimes I think of when I called that home

We had to walk away or we both would surely drown
But I still remember when I called you home
