Life Rebegins

Maybe I'm not designed for this
Is it a jinx to reminisce
On a silent mournful tryst?

Though I've spoken with the sphinx
Solved riddles writ in pale inks
These trials must have holes methinks

And though we must blow with the wind one day
And though I feel chagrined
With your love my life rebegins

Maybe we don't know what we're worth
Is it a joy to be on earth
Or does the curse begin at birth?

And though life can be so coy
Cruelly taunt us like mere toys
I feel blessed to be your convoy

And though we must blow with the wind one day
And though I feel chagrined
With your love my life rebegins
