The Starry Sky

Every second counts, I think I've realized it
But I would rather drown

Then ever change anything now, there's nothing that is new
And nothing's gonna change

Every summer now, just feels like it gets longer
Time never runs out

And all I've got is in myself

Is there any new things to do?
Or is it all just black and blue?
Like it usually is, is anything different?
Will it ever be new?

Put my hands up to my eyes
I don't wanna see, I'd rather hide behind a disguise

Behind a metal wall, if I don't have to run
If I could stay and hide

'Cause nothing lasts forever
Nothing stays the way I wish it would be

Is it selfish to want everything
Back to the way it used to be?

Do you remember the starry sky?
We'd go to watch it every night

Each summer comes and passes
But you won't notice much with rose tinted glasses
