Bottom Of My Soul

At times I still hear grandma say
What she did before she passed away
Child, I've fought the good fight
And I'm not afraid to take my flight today

I'll land upon a golden shore
To see the one that I adore
And when my eyes behold the sight
I'm gonna jump and shout with all my might and sing

From the bottom of my soul I will praise him
He paid what I could not afford
And I'm not afraid to call him Lord
Through the peaks and valleys low
Jesus Christ sustained my strength

Now it's time for him to take my hand
And lead me to the promised land
So fear not nor be sad, my love
I'm going to my home above with him

From the bottom of my soul, I will praise Him
Through the power of the blood, I'll sing
When I hear the trumpet sound
Gonna get up out of the ground
Forever to praise his name

From the bottom of my soul I will praise him
He paid what I could not afford
And I'm not afraid to call him Lord
Through the peaks and valleys low
Jesus Christ sustained my strength

And grandma said, my child
Be not as those who have no hope
For the Lord, himself will descend with a shout
And the voice of the arch angel
And the dead in Christ shall rise and
His kids who are alive and remain will be called to
Meet him in the air and be with the Lord forevermore

From the bottom of my soul, I will praise him
Through the power of the blood, I'll sing
When I hear that trumpet sound
Gonna get up out of the ground
Forevermore to praise His name
Praise his name
