Too Long To Be Wrong

Friend, you say in God you don't believe
His saving grace is a concept you can't perceive
How do you know, you say, it doesn't matter, anyway
To dust we all return; that's it, no more

But, my friend, what if you are wrong
Eternity's too long to be

You say that you were blind, but now you see
Yet your faith is not grounded in calvary
You say that you will never burn
If you are wrong, you shall return to pay for all your deeds

A day comes when you'll find out you were lost
And redemption cometh only through the cross

It's much too long
Too long to be wrong
Eternity's too long to be
Too long, too long to be wrong
Eternity's too long to be
Much too long

Break it down
Some say there ain't no God, but it's a lie
He is real, not a force but a father
And he's given us just one life to live and die
Bled and died at calvary
Rose from the dead for you and me
Salvation is free, but it's your choice
Where you'll spend eternity

Too long to be wrong
Eternity's too long to be
Too long, too long to be wrong
Eternity's too long to be
Much too long, too long to be wrong

It's given unto each man once to die
Then no time left to question how or why
When you're standing there before the throne of God
Tell me, what will you hear

Welcome, for with my blood you have been bought
Or will he say depart, I knew you not

Too long to be wrong, much too long

Christian raise your hands and praise his holy name
Evil may abound, but Jesus stays the same
Praise him, truth and grace have set us free
Pray that the blind shall see

Romans 25:46
