Sailing Sailers

Sailors sailing on a sailboat
Following the wind there's no road
Big waves river waterways flowed
Along unknown shores and ports rowed
Discovering seas unexplored
Saw land appear and disappear
Sometimes restocked food and pears
In certain seas boat wouldn't steer
Compass malfunctioned north unclear
No heading won't succumb to fear
Sailing songs about rum not beer
Suddenly asked where are we here

Saw the sea end and water fall
End of the world's a waterfall?
Anchor dropped and debated all
Dropped a buoying and sailed along
Wasn't easy the currents strong
Year later buoying seen weren't wrong
Earth wasn't round question list long
So they did what anyone would
What an experimenter should
Wrote and told the tale restocked food

Then went of the end of the world
Off this rapid waterfall hurled
Like magic they twisted and swirled
Days seemed to pass they fell asleep
Like the fall was endlessly deep
They got awoken by a horn
Containership transporting corn
Megaphone yells, where's that ship from
Looks so old, where were you all born
Sailors in amazement look round
In the distance a sail they found
Catamaran to fast to count
Astonished again by sea's bound
They kept sailing not touching ground
Decided to all stay on board

Certain point ended at true north
Now seeing a circular edge
A hole pitch black waterfall match
Thoughts of going in to enter
Maybe it goes to the center
Racing to them's the military
Looked unfriendly entered rapidly
What happens next apparently
We don't know stays a mystery
