Fighting Man
Man fighting on a battlefield
Sword swinging, holds metal shield
Who's winnings not yet revealed
Commander shouting his commands
Lost in the war sounds, is its contents
He grabs a great sword with two hands
And hacks a way through the combat
Cutting enemies heads right off
Gets surrounded in a tight spot
When everyones dead, the fight stops
All around disembodied men
Bloodied but wounds barely ten
Fights over and he's scary zen
Now starts looking at their faces
And sees himself scattered in places
Noticing this, his heart races
The devil on his tail chases
Realizes how he can win
When he's fighting the self within
Loop returns to where it begins
This time not hacking and slashing
Starts relaxing and just watching
Calmly from the dream he's waking
No longer fearing and mocking
Done with hating and worrying
Now gives upliftment and loving
Himself, he's now becoming
Sword swinging, holds metal shield
Who's winnings not yet revealed
Commander shouting his commands
Lost in the war sounds, is its contents
He grabs a great sword with two hands
And hacks a way through the combat
Cutting enemies heads right off
Gets surrounded in a tight spot
When everyones dead, the fight stops
All around disembodied men
Bloodied but wounds barely ten
Fights over and he's scary zen
Now starts looking at their faces
And sees himself scattered in places
Noticing this, his heart races
The devil on his tail chases
Realizes how he can win
When he's fighting the self within
Loop returns to where it begins
This time not hacking and slashing
Starts relaxing and just watching
Calmly from the dream he's waking
No longer fearing and mocking
Done with hating and worrying
Now gives upliftment and loving
Himself, he's now becoming
