Memories From The Future

I wake up in a dark room
There are voices around me that I don't recognize and a recurring beeping suggests that I'm ending up in some kind of hospital
This can't be true
We were so far away from the city
But I didn't want to open my eyes or move
I'm afraid of what would await me otherwise I also want to think back to this beautiful dream
When was this time that I saw?
It looked beautiful
And with every second I spend lost in thought in this dream, the number of people in the hospital room changes to zero

But now I have to wake up quickly and find out where I am and when I am
It's a tidy, beautiful room without all the electronic stuff I know
I've landed in the past, but I have memories from the future
Out of the window I see a beautiful sunset that I've never seen before
So untouched, the atmosphere is what gives it all these colors
But this beautiful disappears immediately when I hear those voices from the hallway again
An unknown man with an unknown identity, no home, no family, no biography in general
I have to do something to get out of this unnoticed
And just before I was about to give up in despair, a phone rang from the drawer
