Foreign Eyes

Dive into a shallow sight of foreign eyes
a waterbody in the north
undisclosed, unthought of, yet serene as fuck,
where animal ambitions lurk.

Jewelry I'm mining with my bare hands, readymades
hanging from a stalactite:
Rocky Mountain, Everglades, maybe Eastern Lake,
places that I didn't name.

Desert of nomadic wake,
I felt like wandering back and forth.
There was salty sweat on your forehead
and I licked it off to make it bloom.

Firebreath will make your forehead shine
through wetlands on a rowing boat at night,
while spotting parakeets asleep, you're riding
waves of repetitious flood.

Surfing's the effective way of dodging waste
among belongings that you lost.
Universal cycles washed out in the rain,
I hope the scaffolding will hold...

Swimming now against the dam,
it pushes everyone into the stream,
drowning faster than I thought I would
and yet this feeling could go on...
