The Table of Grace

I wandered far, lost and alone
The weight of the world, the seeds I'd sown
But a voice called out, come as you are
And I saw the light through the door ajar

A table was set, a seat prepared
Where mercy and love would meet me there
Oh the table of grace
Where the weary are fed

With the bread of life and the wine so red
Broken and bruised
I found my place
Restored at the table of grace

The scars I bore
The shame I hid
Were known to the host but still
He bid, child take and eat

Your debt is paid
For my body was broken
My love displayed
At the table he healed my soul

Binding the wounds I thought would never be whole
Oh the table of grace
Where the broken are healed
Where the wounds of the past are lovingly sealed

He calls us all, no matter our case
To be made new at the table of grace
Every seed is a story redeemed
Every heart is a life esteemed

No sinner too lost, no soul erased
All are welcome at the table of grace
Now I invite the lost and the poor
To find what I found at his open door

A feast of love, a meal divine
Prepared by the Savior for all of time
Forever I'll sing of his mercy's embrace
And the healing I found at the table of grace

Oh the table of grace
Where all can belong
A symphony rising, redemption's song
Through every trial, his love we trace

Eternity waits at the table of grace
The table of grace will never run dry
It stretches from earth to the Father on high
Come one, come all, his arms interlace

Healing flows at the table of grace
