Watcher's Eye

We have watched the earth
Been here since it's birth
We see the humans struggle
We see them through our bubble
They could understand and see
But they're caught up in reality TV
I can understand their pain
If I lived in their world I would go insane

We laugh at
The laughter
Of their own jokes
These ridicules have truth
Lots of them are starving
Most of them can't finish their food
They bask in violence
While crime is their favorite sport
They say they mean well
Less than done well
Is why they fall short

Something is wrong
It needs to be better
A coming together
Will bring silent weather
Find out where the good is
And your soul will be seasoned
Trying are the times
It's hard to find some reason
Believe for a change
You fall and falter
It's up for you to take
Advice I offer
If you're tired of the nightmare
This is how you wake up
Get past your differences
And you can triumph

Time is not slowing
It's running faster
We need to make resolve
If patience is growing
It could breed disaster
And a fall
Open up your intrigue
Look inside to release any shame
And maybe in the end
We won't have to find where to lay blame
