The Forest for the Trees

To say that we are all the same is a delusion,
but from that please draw not negative conclusion,
for I mean not to say that we should not be every single race as one in equality,
for without one another the world would turn flat,
it matters not how many names are on your family map,
for the tree of life is enormous and relates to all of we,
so open up your eyes and see,
The forest for the tree.

So don't chop we down Mr Lumberer,
and if you should succeed,
piece we back together Mr Carpenter,
in a labour of love for humanity.

I rate it, reckon I'd like it like I rock opportunity
And I roll on regardless, run and build a forest for the tree
I rested inna mi space until it started to relate to me
Respect inna the world, oh well i'm ready see
For without one another, won't grow, we know the world inevitably crack
It's not how many men ah reckon ours is the land
For the land in which we fell in too requires a greater need
So open up your eyes and see

Well I tell now
If you have a forest then you've got to have a tree
And if you have a beehive then it must contain a bee
Follow me now
If you're boiling a teapot then you must in brew it tea
Cos no man is an island as it was sung by the one Dennis B
So big up the people that promote them individuality
Rationality and humility, vibes and factuality
And you're wanting to act like you and me are the same but in actuality
I don't try and derive my pride blind from my nationality
No way
