Till I Lost - Commentary
I was kind of always talking about this song so I-
It meant-it meant a lot to me Till I Lost and it-
It kind of um, for me it was quite a special song and I didn't, I didn't, I didn't-
You know, I thought it had a lot of potential and, um
But you know I was always, I spoke to my label, my band, and actually my manager
And they were always like, "Forget it, forget it Tom"
You know?
There's not gonna, uhh, we don't get that song
And I was like, anyway
Ken's getting the recording sessions for the album and, I don't know
It was one of those moments, it was at Rack Studios, and we just
I think we were at the last couple of songs, last couple of days of recording
And I remember just saying to Dan, my drummer
I just said like I've got this song Till I Lost and you probably even don't know
But just I woke, I can hear it, there's a beat in there
Something to bring it out a little bit
And um, and he just came up with a beat "do cha, do-do cha"
Suddenly it was just a different song
It meant-it meant a lot to me Till I Lost and it-
It kind of um, for me it was quite a special song and I didn't, I didn't, I didn't-
You know, I thought it had a lot of potential and, um
