Count On Me - Track By Track
I know
So 'Count On Me', ahh, featured Moko (I know)
Ahh, whose amazin' and was signed to the label
Ahem, and it, I guess his sort of
Does what it says on the -, it's, it's a classic kind of rave
Sort of, ahem, quite uplifting dance track
Ahh, we thought about
Maybe tryna make it a bit more modern sound in production
And maybe some soft of partly of drums
And actually just really went nicely, the way it was
With the old school kind of dusty, brakes
Ahh, the big kind of piano chords
Ahem, we did that demo years ago
And probably more like, mirror of the 90s than now
And just going through an old hard drive
Like I usually do, find some magic
But it felt like a demo
And then, at the same time, I met Moko
And so then she's singing something on top of that
And ahh, and it just, it came across quite quickly
It came about quite, quite quickly
And really nice to actually fit to be a single
And, and, to have happened quickly
Because sometimes they're, they're quite labored
So, it went off immediately, the first time we played it
And we just felt, this is an instant record
And it's, and it's been going down well ever since
