Simple As This - Commentary
I was at a stage where I was writing and
The label has agreed they wanted to put the record out and
And at that stage as an artist, you
Yeah, you don't know if you're gonna have a career or not
You don't know what-what's gonna happen
Like it's quite ironic how it's called "Simple As This"
But as you say it gets quite philosophical and uh, I-I enjoy it
That's one of the few tracks I can probably sit down and listen to to be honest
'Cause it's, I think it's slightly different to the other ones on the album
I think if-if anything it's close to "Note To Self," but that's, that's about it
And I wanted something that was kinda 'Simon & Garfunkely' as well, you know?
And I wanted to do a few more harmonies and a bit more guitar picking and stuff like that
But still have that kinda pop beat behind it
So I-I'm quite happy with that track
