The Little Things (Commentary)
Hi, this is Joe Williams now from Toto, speaking with you and um
Just wanted to tell you a little bit about a song called "The Little Things"
On our album XIV, Toto XIV
Written by Steve Porcaro and Allee Willis
It's one of my favorite cuts on the record
It's just pure Steve Porcaro genius
Um, he's not here, otherwise he would be speaking about his own song
But, uh, I mean, this is guy, the creator of, uh, of "Human Nature"
One of the Michael Jackson's biggest hits
You can hear it, you can hear it (you can definitely hear it)
Stylistically, you go, "Oh yeah, that's the guy"
Yeah, it's a brilliant piece, it's a song I think he had-
Allee Willis was the lyricist I believe or co-wrote the lyrics with him
And, uh, it's like I said, one of my favorite cuts
So check that one out
