Shipwrecked

Friends of mine came over to my boat one night
Just to sit back and have some fun
It turned into a party with a bottle of Barcardi
And that's when the damage was done

One of us decided it would be a good time
If we took the old boat for a ride
We were so high, we couldn't figure out why
It suddenly stopped moving with the tide

Now we're shipwrecked
Hit the deck
The sandbar hit our keel
Now we're stranded
Landed

Turns out we were almost three miles from home
And there was no way to get back
We started to breakdown, it was almost sundown
And we just downed the last six-pack

We awoke just as the sun did rise
And realized the trouble we were in
Take my advice, I won't tell you this twice
Don't get drunk and take your boat for a spin
