Be, I Do - Commentary

Be, i do is quite important song for me to write because it was a
I felt me putting myself in the front line of what i do
Uh, specially cause i'm, uh, doing the lead vocal on the track
And it was a real deplest, i feel like, i felt like
I kind of went to with myself, uh, on the feeling good album
And, and just being able to, to, to just express the importance of being youself
And really connecting with yourself and this is what this song is really about
Uh, not just me personally but everybody, you know
I think is important for us to, uh, really really get close to ourselves
And then, and learn to like ourselfs, if we no like ourselfs, we're assholes
You know, and i, i mean that in a good sense, you know
In a sense of recognizing our existance here, you know i mean in how, how, how
How blessed we are to even exist, you know, uh
So, uhm, even resending this song to the label to open stuff and i was a bit nervous
Even though i was talking about being myself and the, obviously i was very happy
Uh, they, they, they, it was greatly received, is a great track to performe
When i'm doing the live shows and stuff
And you know, this was the first song i recorded with the
Drum maestro Wolfgang Haffner, when we first met four years ago
And hearing a beater, and then it was the first thing that we did
And then we just slip into plays and then the vocals on the lyrics to the song came
Uh, quite a while after that, uhm, but the way the whole feel, the whole track opened up
And then, with it, i'm a nice to be able to tear the song to bear lay there in where
With Sebastians to the inskin and do the string arrangements so the song just became this
This really, sort of, for me kind of ground but classic soft half-warming message and after mission
About being yourself
