Oh I just can't stand the feeling of the feeling
When I feel like I do now.
And those lines I feed myself
About how full my life is seem empty somehow
And I know each sad sensation
Because through the years I've felt them all before
So I close my eyes and squeeze them tight
And try hard just not to think no more
