Woo Is Me (Poem)

The city is littered with memories of you and me
A scavenger hunt of what we did so beautifully
Heard you took a hike with a new dude, who is he
Can he get you backstage passes to the music scene

Does he have whole lists and chapters of what you should see
Is he not even close to becoming what he's soon to be
Does he come home laden with packages from duty free
Or is it not as black and white as the black and blue bruises be

Truth be told, I'm this burned up cuz you're the booty queen
Otherwise you're just another LA girl learning ukul-e
Yeah I might've had a little drink, maybe two or three
And cruised the streets determined to live the night stupidly

Guess you had too much to lose, and nothing left to prove to me
And this is what happens when I give it too much room to breathe
While suffocating under the weight of what you do to me
I was just trying to woo you, woo is me
